Contest
YTRiP invites all Filipino artists, coffee lovers, students, and travelers to put your creative juices to work and design the ultimate Pinoy coffee mug. Pilipinas: Biyahe at Kape is the search for THE coffee mug that would show and enrich the Pinoy travel and coffee experience.
Win a three-day stay in Banaue, plus gift certificates from Club Intramuros, Kape Isla, Pinoymade.Biz, and shirts from My Philippines!
The winning design will be reproduced into real mugs, with the designer’s name. Submissions end on October 20th and winners will be announced on the 25th. (DEADLINE extended to 23 OCTOBER 2007, 1130pm Manila Time)

Mechanics: :
- Open to Filipinos of all ages
- Designs must be inspired by travel in the Philippines and by the Filipino coffee experience; it can be in full color.
- Designs must:
- Be fit for a white mug/background
- Have a title
- Be submitted in JPEG format, 8.5x3”, 300dpi
- Be in two forms: (1) flat image of the design, and (2) a drawing/image of the design on a mug
- A maximum of three entries per person is allowed.
- Email entries to kapemug@yahoo.com
(Subject: mug "title"), with name |age| mobile number | occupation | school-company-organization.
- Total scores will be based on formal judging (80%) and online voting (20%)
- Five finalists will be selected, with two top winners.
- Winners will be announced on October 25 via the YTRiP website. Awarding will be on October 27 at the Food Trip sa Kape Isla event.
- The decision of the Board of Judges is final.
- All designs become the property of YTRiP upon submission.
Criteria and Judging:
A.
80% of the total score will be based on the following criteria:
Creativity (30%)
Consistency with the theme (50%)
*A Board of Judges composed of YTRiP advisers and members of the Philippine Coffee Board will be convened
B. 20% will be based on ONLINE VOTING
*Only ONE vote PER person/email address will be honored.
